Dr. Julie Montgomery

Dr. Julie and Gregory Montgomery have over 40 years combined experience working with alternative healthcare and animals. Julie grew up with horses and her first summer job was breezing horses for Calder Race Track in Miramar, Florida. She went on to be the lead Equine Counselor at Woodlands (Equine) Camp in Central Florida the summer she was 16 and then rode on the University of Florida Equestrian Team while she attended there pursuing a degree with a minor in Equine Science and Animal Husbandry.

She is certified in Equine Physical Therapy and Equine and Human Acupressure and is a Master Herbalist as well as a Doctor of Metaphysics and a Naturopathic Doctoral Candidate. Julie is certified in Animal Chiropractic and has studied under Dr. Marvin Cain (founder of the Veterinary Acupuncture School) and Dr. Gineaux, D.V.M. (France), as well as working with the Veterinary Students at the University of Florida in the Alternative Energies club - teaching them about Equine Nutrition and Acupressure.

Julie also completed Master Herbalist Dr. Richard Schultze's coursework on Curing Life End Stage Diseases with Herbs. Julie has completed all of the East Florida School of Herbal Studies courses in herb work and she and Greg are both certified by Open Sky School of Aromatherapy in the use of therapeutic grade Essential Oils and Raindrop Technique on both animals and humans.

Julie, as well as other alternative practitioners, used therapeutic grade essential oils successfully in over 100 equine West Nile Virus cases in Florida from 1999 to 2005. Julie is also a Certified Level II Aura Soma Practitioner, having earned her degree in Aura Soma from the School of Dev Aura in Tetford, England.

Julie has owned Holistic Horse Therapy and Holistic Therapy Services since 1996 and has used the B.E.S.T. technique in practice since 1997 on both humans and animals with great success.

Greg Montgomery

Greg graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Zoology. He then went to work in the Environmental Science industry becoming a Senior Environmental Scientist and working with water quality and water treatment.

Greg owned Sante Fe Morgan Farm and raised Morgan Horses of international show quality from 1994 to 1999, including breeding Sante Fe Renegade who won the Best All Around Morgan Horse at the World Show in Oklahoma.

Greg began learning alternative energy therapies with Dr. Gary Young from Young Living Essential Oils in 1998 and began working with Julie in Equine Certifications in 2003. Greg and Julie traveled extensively all over the United States in 2004 and 2005 working on horses for private clients.

Greg and Julie are both human Elite Master B.E.S.T. Practitioners and Animal B.E.S.T. Master Instructors, teaching those courses at their outstanding 105 acre Dragonfly Farm Facility in Taft, Tennessee through Morter Health Systems.
